TTL’s Renaissance Educator Prom

We are pleased to announce that we are hosting an Educator Prom on May 20, 2023, at the Quincy Marriott, Quincy, MA. In its second year, this event will celebrate and honor the hard work of educators of color with an evening out of their classrooms and schools. At our 2022 launch, we hosted 140 educators of color. Back by popular demand, we are bringing the event back with an evening of networking, celebration and community.

The Teachers’ Lounge is an education-based nonprofit organization seeking to drive unprecedented student outcomes by greatly diversifying the people, thoughts, and actions of the educational workforce in the Greater Boston Area and beyond.

In efforts to recruit, revitalize, and retain Educators of Color, The Teachers’ Lounge develops and implements innovative solutions for building more diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning and professional environments for all stakeholders. We ask for your support to ensure this work continues in schools across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Our agenda is as follows:

• 6:00pm – Doors Open
• 6:00 – 7:00pm – Networking Reception (drink ticket included)
• 7:00 – 8:00pm – Seated dinner and TTL Program
• 8:00 – 9:00pm TTL Competition
• 9:30 – 12:00am – Connect, Build, Vibe
